MyDDride requires that all visitors to this site agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use this site or book our service. By accessing the site and booking our service you indicate your acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

myddride.com and myddride.ca may change or update these terms and conditions from time to time, so please be sure to check back periodically. MyDDride is not a taxi, rideshare or limousine service. We are a designated driving company. We provide an alternative solution for people to relocate their vehicle when they are impaired and unable to drive themselves. A client could be impaired for many reasons.

A client could be impaired from alcohol, recreational drugs, prescription medicine, minor surgery, or fatigue. Since we offer a service to drive vehicles for our clients, our service is not limited to our clients being impaired. If a client needs to have their vehicle relocated to another location without going to the final drop off destination, we can accommodate. A client may need a driver to chauffeur them to and from their appointments and we can do that too.

Use of the Website and Service:

By visiting the website and booking our service you agree to the following conditions:

  1. You will use the website in accordance with the terms and conditions
  2. You are legal age to own and operate a vehicle and possess a major credit card
  3. you are the owner, lease holder or have permission from such owner of the vehicle that is being used for transport by our drivers
  4. You are giving MyDDride’s drivers permission to drive your vehicle to your requested drop off location and drop off any extra passengers you have along the way. All passengers must ride in the clients vehicle. Everyone must have and wear a seatbelt. The last drop off address must be where the vehicle will be going to as MyDDride does not transport passengers in our chase vehicle.
  5. MyDDride will safely get your vehicle to your requested destination in a timely manner but is not liable for loss due to delays caused by road, weather, or traffic conditions beyond our control.
  6. You will only use this website to make legitimate reservations for you or someone you know and if making a reservation for someone else you will inform them of the terms and conditions including our cancellation policy.
  7. If someone books a reservation on your behalf it is your responsibility to know the terms and conditions as well as the cancellation policy.
  8. You agree that any information provided through the website or to our dispatcher is true and accurate.
  9. Your vehicle must have enough fuel to get to the drop off address. Our drivers can stop at a gas station along the way but are not responsible for fueling vehicles.
  10. Our drivers are here to provide you a service and to maintain professionalism. Unwanted physical contact is not permitted at anytime.
  11. MyDDride can refuse to provide service in the following situations.
    1. Our driver feels unsafe due to someone being belligerent, verbally, or physically threatening or abusive or any situation that is not warranted.
    2. Your vehicle is mechanically unsafe to drive. Your vehicle must be in good working condition and in compliance with vehicle safety standards.
  1. If your vehicle is equipped with an interlock device you must have a brand new sealed mouth piece for our driver to use. Failure to provide this will result in the reservation being cancelled and the full cost of the reservation being owed.
  2. If your vehicle is a manual transmission you must notify our dispatcher at the time of booking to ensure you are dispatched a driver that can adequately drive your vehicle as not all our drivers have the same skill level to operate a manual transmission.
  3. In the event that your vehicle has a mechanical failure, runs out of gas or electricity at the pickup location or during the ride, MyDDride holds no responsibility for such failure and a cancellation fee, or charges will still be owed for the reservation. Any extra expenses that occur to get your vehicle to its destination will not be the responsibility of MyDDride.
  4. If you have parked your vehicle in a parking garage, and the doors are locked, and you are unable to get your vehicle you must pay a minimum cancellation based on location and time plus a 20% gratuity to your driver team.
  5. If you are feeling unwell you must notify your driver so they can safely pull over to the side of the road. In the event that your driver is vomited on a fee based on the travel distance and time lost from your drop off to their home will be owed.
  6. MyDDride drivers are not medically responsible for you when using our service. In the event of a medical emergency our driver will assist where possible and should you seek medical attention you authorize our drivers to call 911 or take you to the hospital. You agree that your vehicle will be parked in a safe location and if unable to be given your keys they will be kept at MyDDride’s head office until you or an authorized person is able collect them.
  7. Any vehicle requested to be driven by a MyDDride driver must be insured. All required documents must be up to date. In the event a vehicle is uninsured, and our driver is pulled over resulting in the vehicle being towed and fines being issued, all costs occurred will be the responsibility of the registered vehicle owner and or the person that booked our service.
  8. MyDDride finds quality qualified drivers to assist us in providing our service. Discrimination against our drivers will not be tolerated.
  9. Abusive language and behaviour towards our drivers or dispatch will not be accepted and may result in refusal of service.
  10. Providing an invalid credit card or declining payments must be rectified before being able to book our service again.
  11. MyDDride provides a service subject to availability and assumes no liability should all drivers be booked at the precise time when service is requested.

MyDDride reserves the right to deny access to this site and our service for any reason, including, but not limited to violation of our terms and conditions and cancellation policy

Restrictions on intellectual property use:

All information on myddride.com or myddride.ca, including but is not limited to text, images, illustrations, promotions, and terminology is subject to intellectual property right protection, which are owned and controlled either by MyDDride, or by third parties who have licensed their materials to us.

Any information from myddride.com, myddride.ca, our google my business listings or our social media platforms may not be copied, modified, downloaded, uploaded, or used in any way without permission. Modifications of the information, materials or use for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial gain is in violation of the copyrights and other intellectual property held by MyDDride. The use of our material or information on any other website without written permission is prohibited.

This site may be linked to other sites which are not maintained by MyDDride. MyDDride is not responsible for the content of those sites or their policies. All other trademarks and intellectual property are the property of their respective owners.
